LAKAWON ISLAND RESORT

Lakawon Island Resort & Spa is now under new management. Please refer your inquiries at this page  https://www.facebook.com/Lakawon-Island-Resorts-Spa

Lakawon Island Resort is an island located along the Guimaras Strait. It can be reach by boat for about 15 minutes from the port of Brgy. Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City. I always loved to go there because of its crystal clear pristine blue waters.

Cadiz Viejo baranggay hall and soon to be
tourism center and waiting area

The port of Cadiz Viejo where one can get a boat going to Lakawon Island Resort. Roundtrip boat fare is at P600 (minimum rate) good for 4 passengers. Boats can ferry a maximum of 12 pax with an additional fare of P150 per pax. I'm just glad they built this port, you can't imagine what you have to go through when there was no port during low tide and choppy waters.

and white sand beach

Overnight cottages with aircon good for 4 pax is at Php2,500.
Good for 8 pax is Php3,000.

The non-aircon cottage. Overnight rental fee
good for 4 pax is Php1,500.

This cottage can accommodate a maximum of
eight (8) pax. Overnight rental fee is Php1,800.

The beach with a hut, great if you don't want
to stay under the sun while swimming.

The village charges P20 per person as port entrance fee. If you brought your own transport service, parking fee is P35 paid to the owner of the land where cars can park.

Entrance to the resort is P100 per person. Room reservation is a must for overnight stayers. For more information, reservation or inquiries call Lakawon office directly at (034) 4330808 or 0917-4095576.

P.S. For your trip, please call the Lakawaon Island Resort directly with the numbers listed above. I don't do bookings for them. Thanks!

    1. Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog. Entrance fee is at P100 per person. If you are staying overnight, you need to make a reservation. However, if it is a day tour only it's nice if you can give them a call but it's definitely OK if you just go straight there. Enjoy!

    1. Hi! If you will be renting an aircon room, the generator starts at 5:30PM and will stop at 7AM, for non-aircon rooms generator starts at 5:30PM and ends at 10:30PM. There is a restaurant at the resort that caters to breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. One can also order a 5 gallon of drinking water for the duration of your stay. Cottages are fairly made to accommodate such number of people depending on your requirement.

    1. Yup. Lakawon is a small island. You need to cross the sea to get there. May parking area sa port ng Cadiz Viejo and safe naman coz it's right in front of the baranggay hall. ^^
